It's easy to be decent by mashing buttons but when you try to really use the moves, it gets much harder so you may end up beaten by someone mashing buttons. Actually, I think SC is one of the easier fighters. Its the easiest one I know of. I can't think of any other fighter where you can win by just tapping square and triangle.
I actually almost got bested by a noob who was doing just that because he was way faster than me and I rarely block in SC. It was pretty hard to GI as well due to the slight lag but it seems like the easiest way to victory is full unending assault and thats my specialty. I find it hard to defend against people I haven't figured out.
