EA is within its rights to limit anything on its game. This is a company takng action -- not the government censoring it.

Also, I imagine the fear of getting hit with an AO for its online content could make EA just a bit touchy on this matter. (Again, the ESRB is a private organization, set up so the government would NOT take charge).

So, if you are trying to make something "family friendly," you don't want it something looking like it came from a bizarroworld version of Plato's Retreat.

If there is a way for this content to be enjoyed just by the creator and not travel to other places, it would be fine. But if you are putting something out there for others, you have to make sure it meets with implied standards. In other words, no one cares if you go naked in your house, but don't try it on the streets.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
