I was 15 I think, and just got back from school. Switched on the TV and saw some people starring upwards. the shot lasted 5 seconds, nothing was being said and all I thought was: Damn... most boring show EVER!
I switched channels but most showed the same, untill I saw the explosion and just sat in awe looking on. Watched the news for 5 hours straight I think.
But other then that, I doubt that if 9/11 didn't happen, I wouldn't be sitting in this desk on this forum.
The only direct effect it has on me, is that most of the events following 9/11 are still 50% of the news-section.
