Story is really important to me. That's a big reason why I like Suikoden 3,5, Skies, and Chrono Trigger. A common aspect to all those games' stories is that they weren't overly dramatic. Although I like the FF series, one of my complaints has always been that they're almost too depressing too much of the time. Not enough sense of adventure and fun. Persona sounds intriguing. What about Odin Sphere? I've heard that it's good, but I don't actually know anything about it. |
Don't play Lost Odyssey then since it is even more depressing than the FF games. Sense of adventure and fun is good and all but I still like dark and mature stories also but that's just me.
