Where did I mention Microsoft, I was making the point that although the press release says "look how much work we've done EVEN SINCE 2.40"....They've done jack shit. I'm not trolling I picking apart joke of a press release or whatever its supposed to be. What has that got to do with microsoft? I'd do exactly the same if someone posted such gibberish for any company. The 360 has an atrocious failiure rate, I don't disagree with that at all. I hate the fruity MS dashboard, I've got no problem calling a spade a spade. I'm calling that sony statement a complete pr piss take. What exactly are the differences between 2.40 and 2.42 firmware on the PS3? |
Merely fixing mistakes :P They pushed a product out and didn't work out all the bugs. I don't commend them for it, but they remedied any situation pretty fast. I'm just saying MS wishes they're hardware probs were so easy. Sorry for lashing :)
@Disolotude, you have some good points, but as Rocket mentioned earlier, playing catch-up is much easier than paving. Microsoft has a blueprint sitting there for what they're "networking" should be all about. I'm actually admiring XNA and Home for trying to bring something else to the table. XNA for more creative ideas, and Home for a social interface for the playstation brand, not a game in itself, but a way to take your games and make them more social.
From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.
