3D interface, avatars, and XBL Community beg to differ. Sure, I think the avatars are pretty lame but MS is still working hard on improving XBL and the Dashboard.
I don't see Sony catching up to XBL any time soon. After all, MS is a software company and Sony is a hardware company. MS has a distinct advantage when it comes to this realm.

XNA development software i think pretty much puts Xbox live ahead unless PSN counters it.

ummm... I fail to see how this demonstrates that XBL is better than PSN: So I can pay to play hundreds of crappy games designed by lazy teenagers while they're not watching TV. Woohoo. I already had hundreds of crappy games to choose from on XBLA.
