Well, the sure sign of it causing any momentum will be when official numbers are out. Looking at your local stores won't tell you much as some areas are different than others. Just like someone seeing a Wii on the shelves in one of their local stores is not proof supply has reached demand. Many online retailers have started selling out their PS3 stock. How much they had is another matter. The pricecut is a step in the right direction. Of course, getting rid of the 60gb so you can sell an 80gb one at the old price is half a step back in the wrong direction, once again. The major problem now is that there are still few titles out right now. Especially if you're one of the PS2's core demographic (rpg gamers). I'd also have absolutely no interest in Motorstorm so it'd be like I spent an extra $100 for 20gb. I can spend less to upgrade the 60gb to a much larger harddrive.
