There are plenty of Wiis where I live, but no 40GB PS3s, believe it or not.  I think everyone who wanted a Wii here got one long ago (I live in a kinda tech-centric area).  My neighbors (who are very... ahem.. non-technical) picked up a Wii for their 6-year old about a month back.  I think they were possibly the last humans within about 50 miles to purchase a Wii in this area -- everyone else has one already.
