After suikoden III, the series has been slowly dying...maybe Konami had laid it's gravestone?

Come on, I concede (as any Suikoden fan would) that IV was a disappointment, but V was a fantastic game, not on par with II (no game ever created can stand on par with II), but it was easily one of the PS2's best games.

As for where I'd like to see VI, I hope it goes to the PS3, as it's the console someday I'm sure I'll get, I don't wasnt it to go Wii, as I don't want to have to get one just for this game.

I have V. It was okay but not as EPIC as II. The problem is that the 108 stars are usually just for show. There are always only about 12 characters that are actually useful out of 108 and they are usually so much better than the rest

the point of the other stars is not to be in every battle you fight, but rather to add color to the game. every game has the 6-12 characters that you play with and grow through with, but not every game gives you 108 named people to interact with different personalities. an RPG isn't just about the battles and stuff. its about the experience of being in that world. with 108 people, you get a more realistic feel where i'd think you'd have more than 6-12 named companions.
