Fairly easy better value for money proposition in my opinion. Anyone saying this 10 year lifecycle rubbish needs to realise just how long that is and that any serious console gamer is inevitably going to be buying the xbox3 / playstation4 / wii2 before the 10 year ps3 cycle is up.

Nice to see you're not above blatant attacks to other people having a legitimate conversation. For one when you do such a thing you log onto your PC and halt your account till you get it back. For another fact, the newer chips do RRoD a lot less often and at least there was a 3 year warranty extension to it. It's not as though they're blatantly ignoring the problem anymore.

At the bolded part- whats the RRoD got to do with online play? Save that for another thread
