You can't just throw money at a mission to mars and go there. It's much more complicated. Learn to appreciate the hard work NASA does and be grateful the US has an agency like NASA, most countries don't.

Probably because most countries would rather spend money on other, useful, projects.

If it wasnt for NASA America and the world would be a much different place.  For starters, we wouldn't have satellites and everything that goes with them.

I cant think of a better program to fund than one that is devoted to research and development.  If anything NASA needs more money.
