If a person is in such pain that it makes their lives umbrearable I believe it should be done. However the family should have some say in it, if said person is unable to communicate other then the fact that their pain is excruciating. Also doctors should have a say in the process. If a doctor says the person will get better, then it should be out of the question to euthanize them, but if the doctor agress that the pain is terrible and the person would be better off dead, then so be it.
