Yes, the WW launch was within days of each other, while PS1 and PS2 especially had weeks and months.

U.S. and Japan have never launched that close together. They've always been weeks/months apart. And again, it's worse for the PS3 that it launched this close together and tracking below.
So you are saying because US and Japan got the PS3 almost at the same day it was a simultaneous

I'm saying that the releases were much more closer than either the PS1 or PS2. 4 months is a lot closer than seven months.
