If he has not played FFVI however, he would not have realized that just about everything in FFVII is based on what was done in FFVI, minus the FMV's.

FFVI IMO was perfect. Can't wait for a from the ground up remake of that beauty. I want to 100% it again.

I wouldn't mind an FFVII remake either, I would 100% that again as well.

An FF VI rmake would be far better IMO. But I won't get in the details and stray off topic. Also, my responce is to you :P

 

I agree with both of you. FFVI is truly the best of the series. Actually I considered VII to be one of the worse imo. I liked FFIV, VI, IX, and X much more.  Then  VII, VIII, V and finally XII. I'm not counting the NES games because they are pretty much dated, even though they are probably the harder games of the series.
