I would find such a move humorous. Mostly due to the Sony Defense Force members that would go entirely off of the rails.
To be honest when FFXIII was announced to be multiplatform the SDF did mostly damage control and did downplay it. The people who were completely off the rails were 360and Nintendo fans with 500 ridiculous threads a la "This is the end of the PS3".
