This will sound harsh, but:
It's funny to see Sony fans getting worked up over the same kind of action Sony took when entering the video game market. Sony would still be doing more of the same today, were it not for a higher bidder having entered the auction (MS, of course).
Next generation, Sony will have to fight with more than money (like Nintendo did), because in the money game they have met a superior foe.
