I haven't played GTA4 yet (it is on my rental list and I haven't received it yet) ...
One thing I find interesting is how it was (almost universally) acclaimed as the "Greatest game of all time" by reviewers with an average review score of over 97% on gamerankings, reviewers have claimed they received the game too late to play through it (entirely) and were basing their scores on a partial playthrough, it has a user average of 84% on gamerankings, and gamers are constantly commenting on how much of a dissapointment it was and how buggy the game is.
I'm not saying that the game is bad or anything, but it is one of the games which adds weight to people's suggestions that the current review system is broken and (potentially) corrupt.
