As far as recent games
Resident Evil 4 - not bad, but I don't see how it had such amazing reviews
Oblivion - I wish I bought this on PC. Enemy scaling was a terrible idea.
SSBB - fell for the hype, and it just didn't seem as fun as the original.
I would say GTA4, but I pretty much had no hype for it since MGS4 was coming so close to it. Also it is still fun to just drive around and blow stuff up.
