First of all, I NEVER said that "the console be used at full" so those were NOT my words And I say "implies" because "exotic" doesn't always mean better because I NEVERsay that either. I prefer eating sushi over a microwaveable dinner. I think that sushi is more exotic and better than a microwaveable dinner. And we have seen that there have been better looking multi-platform games on the PS3 while it has been more constantly reported that developing for the PS3 has been more difficult in the past. So it's possible that as the developers get more and more of a better handle on the development, we might get some better looking games as proven by past and presnt games such as Soul Calibur IV. Please don't take what I said out of context such as "console be used at full" and "devs are not willing to work with it" because most developers are working with it. |
Lets me see if I get what you say...
You say that the console... well lets just quote it again: " And being and "exotic" system to develop for implies the potential of the console itself for the long run."
And you reasoning behind that is:
"And I say "implies" because "exotic" doesn't always mean better because I NEVERsay that either."
Still you quoted a PS mag to prove that PS3 features more potential than the Xbox 360... providing a better experience...
"So it's possible that as the developers get more and more of a better handle on the development, we might get some better looking games as proven by past and presnt games such as Soul Calibur IV. "
So, yeah I agree that the PS3 is supposed to be more powerfull, and maybe if is used carefully can provide us with a better experience than the 360, but I still don´t get why do you think that exotic implies the potential of the console... sorry but exotic only implies that the console is easy to work with because is a not-so-common system, and doesn´t follow very ortodox methods...
Yeah, sorry I can´t get the idea behind "exotic" implying "potential"...
