I remember doing this questioning session with a panel of scientists, and one of the questions was "do you think aliens exist", and all of them stated that, without a doubt, there are definatly more intelligent lifeforms out there.
Anyways, the reason why I am saying this, is because one scientist said something that made me laugh, he said:
"Yeah, there are definatly aliens, as to whether they have ever visited us? I highly doubt it. However, I'd just like to point out that in all of these Hollywood films, where the alien space ships come down, and the doors open, and it just so happens to be in the middle of a military base. If these aliens really did have the technology to travel to Earth, all of those army guys, sitting in their trenches, holding their rifles and their sub-machine guns, really aren't going to have much of an effect against the aliens. If aliens have the ability to travel across the universe like that, then, really, resistance would be futile".
