I'm not too sure about that. All we've found so far is that it might have been able to support life some time in it's past, that isn't proof that it ever actually did.
Though I am 100% sure there is life outside of earth. There's untold numbers of planets out there and the chance that life only occurred on one of them is very slim.

You're absolutely right. That's why I said its only a matter of time. Now that we've found traces of water, I truly think we will find traces of microbial life.

I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm not sure the conditions needed to begin life (at least on Earth) ever existed on Mars, and even if they did, there's also a high chance that the needed chemical reactions never happened.
