Personally, #3 isn't really all that bad. Sure, dicing up someone you know probably sucks. But, for years I have told my wife that I would rather be taken to a mountain and buried in a shallow grave so I can return my energy to which that it came from, everything else. Why waste my body in a completely sealed casket inside a cement tomb? After all, if 90%+ of the world is right and God does exist God can resurrect me with or without that body. After all its not like very many of the billions of humans who have passed before me have intact bodies anymore either.
I think cremation is a waste as is normal western burial practices. I still want to be buried in simple wrappings in a dirt only grave. If I get eaten by bugs and scavengers, good. Its not like I would feel it, I'm dead.
