not better then crysis. it is a very good looking game though

I'm pretty sure Crysis does not have real time Ray-tracing and Killzone 2 does, so KZ2 is better

KZ2 does not use Ray-tracing. That rumor started from a photoshopped image of the game.

Crysis, on the other hand, uses Paralax Occlusion Mapping, Advanced Rope Physics, Advanced Light Refraction, Procedural Motion Warping, Light Beams, Subsurface Scattering, etc...

During one of the developer interviews he says the game uses Ray-tracing.

BS. It took three clustered PS3 to get real time ray tracing of a single static object. The average ray traced scene takes hours to generate a single frame. Either the developer is talking crap or you've misunderstood what he said because there is no way KZ2 uses ray tracing.

You apparently haven't been keeping up with raytracing news... I have 3 tracers on my machine that CAN do real time tracing.  (though they use SSE optimized routines, a non-scalar algorithm and are still a little primitive.)  The point that you are trying to read into it is that the whole frame is traced.  This simply can't be done today.  However, you can do partial frame tracing on lighting and other aspects.

It seems the mods need help with this forum.  I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.
