It's one of The Harvest moon series .But you got monsters to fight ,gotta collect materials to craft better weapons(sword ,axe ,spear etc.) and also a huge boss too ;)
You also can catch monsters and bring it to your farm and pet'em to make product for you(you can have milk from Bull/Cow ,eggs from chicken ,honey from bee etc.) and some monsters even can help water your farms too.(so you'll have much more time to do something else.) :3
You didn't fight alone ,some of your pets can follow and fight beside you(and some can be mounted).
IMO ,it feels like HM+action RPG. :D
