Erm, the sixaxis has motion controls (that sony honestly honestly didnt steal from the wii) so technically, Resistance 1 and 2 do and will have wii-type controls....to a certain degree

You're serious? You've never, ever played an FPS on a PC?
A precision mouse will always be better and easier to use than a small analog joystick you twist around with your thumb.
That doesn't mean console shooters aren't fairly accurate and fun to play, but it's just so much better with a mouse...
