I've played Travian for almost a year, but not very actively though. Saving your fleet and resources in Ogame is somehow easier than keeping your villages in Travian. At least, it was with the older version of Travian I played which could be pretty brutal. It may have changed a bit since then. It also seemed easier to play solo in Ogame. Although the point of these games is to interact with other players (allies and ennemies), it's nice not to always have to rely on your friends to survive. Anyway, all these browser games are pure evil . |
Yep, Travian is brutal. To the point that if you want to make it to the top in the game, you have to be prepared to sacrifice pretty much all the free time you have... And yes, playing with other's is a must in Travian, but that's good 'cause without all the alliance politics and wars, it would be horribly boring.
