I had a fat PS1 which never stopped working...I'm not sure what happened to it. I think my parents kind of made it disappear after we got our PS2...we got the PS2 near launch so it was years ago and hard to remember what we did to it. I remember that it never stopped working though. I've got the same fat PS2 that still works....got the DRE once but purely a problem of dust build up over the years. Easily fixed by cleaning the lens. Had a really old Sony Ericsson that didn't even have bluetooth...and I'm ironically getting a new phone today.
