Tell me, did you complain about the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl graphics? Do you complain about the graphics of the Wii Fire Eblem game? I'm curious. |
The graphics in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl changed. Thanks for continuing to criticize games you haven't plaed. The only thing in Pokemon DP that did not change is that the pokemon's battle sprites were hand drawn (but they were all redrawn, and gender differences were added). World graphics were improved and rendered in 3D, attack animations were all completely new, and much better looking, music was orchestrated rather than synthesized, and the game added tons of content and changed the base formula of the Pokemon series.
As far as Fire Emblem goes, it's a Gamecube game ported to the Wii like Super Paper Mario, this is supposedly a from the ground up PS3 title. But, do I complain about half assed rendering on the Wii? Yes, you bet I do, because no developers should be so lazy as to not even attempt to use the game system's power.
Oh, and because I'm tired of you making up BS about games you haven't played, Pokemon comparison shots for you:

There is a big difference between graphics and art. Pokemon's art style doesn't work well with badly rendered 3D graphics, so they cell shaded the game and made the graphics look sharp, clean, but classic. There is no artwork excuse for Disgaea. It's textures are low detail, there are jaggies everywhere, and the environments are bland and washed out. This is just bad. Once again though ckmlb you show that you'll defend bad graphics on the PS3 but then turn around and bash Wii game graphics.
