I liked both Talladega Nights and Semi-pro, but I agree they weren't his best.
I've also noticed that the enjoyment in any Will Ferrell movie is greatly increased by watching it with friends...and by friends I mean the type of friends that you can BS with into the early hours of the morning.
PS - Anchorman and Blades of Glory are his 2 best imo, but I haven't seen Step Brothers....yet....
