Tales does sell well, in Japan. Other than Symphonia, Tales games haven't done that great in the West. Maybe it will change with Vesperia but we can't be sure how the 360 userbase will receive it. It's just that I am still choosing between ToV and IU.

 

 

I think Abyss did well too. Really all Team Symhponia games did well. The new Wii Tales is probably being made by Team Destiny but I'm not so sure that'll do amazingly in the West. Tales of Destiny 2 on the PS2 sold nearly 900k in Japan ALONE so we can see Team Destiny is really popular. They didn't bring ToD2 or Tales of Rebirth to the West because Western sales were bad but hey, maybe ToS, TotA, and hopefully ToV will be enoughj to strengthen the fanbase so more people in the West can buy more Tales games regardless of the team.

 

Abyss did well in Japan but it didn't do so hot in the US for the obvious reasons(lack of marketing and released close to FFXII).  ToV could do well in the West based on if there is a decent enough JRPG fanbase on the 360 and if Namco market it well.
