The problem with Sega is that they have some really kickass IPs. The really good ones either stay in Japan (Sakura Taisen/Wars) and stay decent or come over here and then get slaughtered (Sonic).
PS: That video was of Sakura Taisen 3 (Dreamcast/PS2/Something else I forget).
