The sample size is fine, I'm more concerned about the data being collected online. But Ipsos-Reid is a fairly reputable firm, so this survey does carry some weight.

To the people who are wondering why it would be unusual that the leading console is more likely to be connected to an HDTV: It isn't. But this evidence does run counter to the oft-made assertion that HD console adoption will pick up as HDTV adoption increases. HDTV owners are favoring the Wii, just as SDTV owners are.
