When these threads come up I get really surprised.
I am 100% sure that I heard and watched (IGN) SE's boss say that the game will be released simultaneously in the west. Now if you want to think that he was lying and that SE wouldn't let the game be stalled on the PS3 just because you don't think it will feel free to do so.
At least FF will be PS3 exclusive in Japan anyway (for now?).
I do agree with that comment that they could've made 2 FF Wii games by now and for a bigger userbase than PS3 + Xbox360 combined - considering FF sales come 50% from Japan and 50% rest roughly.
