No it's not. All we've seen is...CGI. By "early" I assume Q1 2009, which at the rate they're giving out info isn't feasible AT ALL.

I didn't say it is a lock for the game to hit early 2009, but is there is a chance it could hit Japan by then.

What if it TGS or the Square Enix Event they have a gameplay blowout? Maybe they didn't want to show any big things at a Western Event.

 

It's not going to. They just barely finished the story scenes and the soundtrack and such still need to be finished. Early 2009 isn't happening. Also, they might have a gameplay blowout...but then again that hasn't happened for the last couple of years so I'd wait and see and not make any predictions.
