SOCOM 1 and 2 were awesome, and killzone was decent.
Anyways Sony focusing on shooters makes sense. They are trying to capture the American market, and they also do fairly well in Europe. The Wii will likely dominate Japan even if Sony started getting hold of a lot of JRPG's, and most don't do that well outside of Japan.
But considering this isn't even a shooter, I don't see what the big deal is.
