For most people, the perspective considered to mimic reality the best, if 1st, or 3rd person. As time goes on, I think most games will start to use this. That does not mean every game will be a FPS like we think of today. Fallout 3, Oblivian, and Fable 2 are examples of this taking shape. They will all be in 1st or 3rd person, but none of them are "shooters". |
