In my opinion violent games dont create violence, violent people create violence and they are attracted to violent video games. A lot of psychologists agree that there is a correlation between violent video games and violent behavior but it also can be due to the fact that violent people simply prefer to have violent games. In the end what came first mafia, murder, torture or video games? If public didnt want violence then there would be none or close to none violent video games and movies.

I have taken several psychology courses and I am far from being an expert in psychology, but practically all of my professors have agreed that violent fantasies actually reduce violence. Most serial killers dont fantasize they ACT out their fantasies instead, everybody in their lives have wished to kill somebody at some point and by imagining that scenario we wouldnt have to do that. The whole argument about people training to murder is a shallow one because most of the time this training actually fulfills one's desire for violence and they can move on with their regular lives.
