| ultraslick said: the flood of Sony hate is phenomenal since E3. Eventually, the xbots will loose interest though, as they always do... until next E3. Anyways, there definitely are a lot of FPS's, I find this a little bit confusing since Killzone 2 (the major one that Sony has hyped beyond belief) is just around the corner. But if you think about the release dates, they wont be right on top of one another. Every 3 months on average, a top tier shooter will come out only for the PS3. and they lead in every other genre to, except for RPG's. I find it amazing that XBOX has gone so drastically for the RPG's. It is a good and diverse genre to focus on, but the sales don't have the stability that Sony's shooters will have. I love new exclusive franchises, the possibilities of them at this point in the console life cycles is very important. Team ICO's project, MAG, Heavy Rain. Those are very important to the success of Sony. |
RPG's right...and sports games, and racing games (project gotham 3, project gotham 4, test drive unlimited, Forza 2 VS GT5P) and fighting games (DOA4, SF2online, UMK3 online, VF5 ONLINE! against VF5 no online and MK2 online) and FPS games and any other type of game that doesn't have MGS in its title.
For any type of game on ps3, there are 2 or 3 games like it on 360. Unless the game is MGS4...this is the sole jewel in ps3s crown at this point.
