here is the same, people don't know anything about blue-ray, hddvd, or hdtvs, neither people who own the ps3 know what are the improvements of blue ray, though sony is always advertising it on tv, i think that the next gen. will be the real hd gen.

Actually, the PS3 is 100% HD friendly, and will remain that way for the next ~9 years.

The 360 is 70% HD friendly and will remain the next ~5 years.

The Wii is 0% HDTV friendly, as it looks best on a SDTV set. It is expected to last 2-3 more years.

Not that tired argument again.  The Wii wil outlast the 360 and will only get outlasted by the PS3 if Sony decieds not to enter the next generations console wars.

As we see, in about 5 years, almost everything will be 100% HD friendly. The Wii2 likely wont, but wait another 2 years beyond that and the Wii3 will be. (this is sad. I just thought, that if the Wii is replaced every 3 years. There Will be a Wii4 before the PS4.

Not a chance that the Wii will be replaced every 3 years.  Nintendo will stick with a minumum 5 year cycle, and the Wii may even go longer if sales stay as high as they are.

Basically in 5 years HD will be the standard. In 3 years it will be the standard in the United States. (as analog broadcasts will be shut off)

You have your facts backwards.  Analog will be shut off in 3 years, but Digital signal does not mean HD signal.  Most station will broadcast both SD digital and HD digital well past 2010.  Probably ever past 2020.
