why do you include a subscription to a ( video based) gaming magazine with the ps3's total?

And why would anyone buy an $80 dollar cable when the $10-20 cable is the exact same?

The $70 cable is the street price for the official cable and the $20 price is the price of a normal HDMI cable - I included both because some people will buy the $70 cable stupidly and im sure the Gamestop employees get incentives to sell them.

I included Qore in an example because I wanted to - its just an example its not meant to represent anything.

I included Qore in the list because its one extra package for the PS3.

@The fury - It was just an example people are different, some need while others don't need wireless and some people refuse to use it for online gaming. It all depends.

@Steven

Heres another comparison for you.

Xbox360 Pro - $300

No extra cables/controllers - you'll know what you need.

D-link wireless - 104mbps if your router can handle that speed, its a seperate unit so it should deliver faster speeds overall with better transmission power/antanae so your performance will be even better if you throw a few walls in the way. $67

Total $367 (May be able to get a cheaper deal/bundle that offers extra value with the old premium)

PS3 40gb/80gb - $399/499 - depends if you want dual shock or backwards compatibility or both.

Included blu ray - do you care much for that?

Also games are subjective, but I will presume you like the Xbox offerings at least since you had one in the past and you may even have some games at home, so obviously factor that in.

There you go - you can make up your mind as to how much you value the games between the systems or blu ray.
