Given the choice between 1920/1080 vs 1280/720 and a framerate thats locked at 60 frames per second on my 8800gt I think its an easy choice. I don't know what the framerate is on the console version but after almost finishing Ninja Gaiden I just wouldn't tolerate it at 30 frames per second.

actually the PC version can go up to 120 frames per second.

 

 

 Now you're just showing off! But Vsync it at 60FPS would be awesome for me, my LCD doesn't display any faster anyway.
