The only things that bother me about Brawl, is L canceling was removed AFTER it was confirmed in a demo, and Peach being nerfed. ; ;

Floaty doesn't bother me, about the only 'problem' with it is people now live to 120% instead of insta death at 80%. If you don't like being floaty, play Fox. His ass still falls extremely fast even in Brawl. Competitive players even toyed with the Heavy Brawl option becoming standard. It was decided, floaty isn't as big of a problem as people make it. That and Heavy Brawl destroyed the viability of certain characters (Herro Sonic!).

Air dodging doesn't bother me. Bait it and attack its lag, not a problem.

Shields don't bother me. Grabs and Shield Poking attacks are in the game for a reason!

Spot Dodge/Roll Dodge. Again, bait and punish.

Projectile spam, almost every character has an attack that will safely render said projectiles useless. Even when its not an option, theres always Power Shielding and going airborn.

The problems most people are facing, is because ONLINE allows it. Defensive options are much much easier to break through offline. Spamming is so much easier to Power Shield and walk right through offline. Smash DI out of multihit attacks is easier offline. The game as a whole is just so much more balanced and enjoyable offline. Thats why I say online is a poor way to measure skill.

For instance, I have NEVER come close to losing to an Ike offline at any tournament with my chosen mains (They even look happy if they KO me once). Online, I lose to smash spam happy Ikes more often then I lose to Meta Knights that have a clue. Its been said a lot by casuals and tournament goers alike that certain characters just get an advantage online even with the most miniscule of lag. Why? Example: Ike is slow as hell, so people use Power Shields and shut him down entirely. Powershielding online however, loses effectiveness due to the precise timing needed and thus, you take an F-smash to the face and die.

Projectiles, say a Pit was sitting at the far end up FD just spamming the hell out of arrows. Dedede could approach with walking F-tilts not taking a SINGLE arrow hit. Online however, timing screws that idea and Dedede ends up looking like a pin cushion.

The problems people seem to have here, is based on online play. NOT the game itself.

@AFSN, thats Wolfs version of a jab lock. The combo itself to put them in that situation isn't guaranteed so studying it would do nothing but probably lead to disappointment.
