so the problem here is that it fails...you wanan play AS Link? go play any other fantasy game..LoZ was different from the start....

A lot of Zelda fans think they are playing "as Link". I am one of them, I like Link's personality.

anyone who wants voices in LoZ is weird...especially if they complain about Link not talking..there's a reason behind it...if you don't get that you're not a Zelda fan..

I don't want voice acting either, so that's an agreement. (although I didn't mind Link talking in TWW)

Mario is a different game entirely...but started with the same premise: Mario is the allaround middle aged carpenter (then plumber)...who magically gets lost in another world

That's been retconned it seems. Anyway, Link is a young boy (or teen) living in Hyrule, destined to save the world. He's not me, he's Link.

and about the art you chose >_> only red and green look off..go check the others...

these are the ones I meant though ^_^'' I get what you're saying..but seeing as how Nintendo is going back to it's roots..you might not be liking the next few Zelda games..as PH fixed the gay Toon Link thing

PH fixed the Gay Toon Link thing? What?

I don't *hate* toon link....he's just not Link ....WW Link sounds too sissy..and looks like one too

You have to appreciate the different Link's, TWW Link's character is indeed quite different from TP Link's character.

while Young Link..or any other Link for that matter...just check it..

???

besides that: WW story doesn't fit..the split timeline itself is screwed up..MM shows that Link has to return to Hyrule..why?

song of storms..: Link teaches that dude the song of storms in OoT...the old mean teaches it to old link...that's how you do it in OoT

MM explain how young Link learned it in the first place (since it's the same, young Link and only 3 days pass anyway)

he learns the actual song of Storms in MM...this is something you can only know form PLAYING the games..and not from main plot summaries..

MM Link can still return to Hyrule, since it's in the Child Timeline. Regardless, the whole time travel thing is confusing.

that's what tells the true Zelda tales..what you find in the background..not just the foreground..and WW missed alot:

Gorons died? wth? Zoras died? wth? Kokiri's turned into wood?!?!?

Gorons didn't die, but population decreased naturally, considering how watery the world is. Zora's evolved into Ritos, possibly because the Gods did not want them to find Hyrule. Kokiri's turned into plants possibly because they were living around so many and in such a foresty enviroment, they eventually transformed.

it screwed it up...with not reason...it felt like a stupid kid story

It's 500 years after OoT, you expect it to be the same?

A brief explaination of the split timeline:

Ocarina of Time takes place

One timeline = the world where Zelda sent Link back. Link does not exist in this universe anymore. The Wind Waker takes place on this timeline, and as explained in the intro of TWW, Ganondorf took over since OoT Link was gone and thus Hyrule was flooded by the Gods.

Other timeline = OoT Link tells Zelda and the King about Ganondorf before he can take control (unsure what time he went back to, possibly the time where he would normally go see Zelda for the first time), the events shown in TP where Ganondorf is sent to the Twilight Realm happen. OoT Link embarks on MM adventure. TP takes place afterwards 100 years later.

Confusing, but it makes sense eventually.

mmm the split timeline is  a pure fan thing..:

after she send him back..she resets everything...that means there is no link..yes, but then he'll grow till he's old enough to wield the sword anyway...right?

if you look at it..everything is kinda screwed

5000 years....and death mountain still exists (dragon roost island) yet the gorons are dead for no reason..

fish evolve into birds withint 500 years...right

what I'm trying to point out is...it's just weird...and I don't really love that story...if they could've given him some other sword..like the FS it might've worked..why?

the Master Sword trapped young link because he wasn't big enough to wield it..yet WW link wields it...

the Master Sword lost it's power?....

if you think about it for a second...nothing makes sense...

as standalone story it would make sense...compared to other Zelda's it's all screwy >_<

and Toon Link= Toon Link..he's not Link...if you get my point..Young Link= Link..all other Links are Link...just Toon Link is different...

that's why I wanna see how WW ties in with the Four Sword games.. (look at PH)

that way I might learn to like the big headed Link

oh...and the edit:

while Young Link..or any other Link for that matter...look resolute..and ready to save the day, just check it..

man...I was tired >_< sorry for typos...or anything I might forget..
