1200 titles is good. And you can bet they probably have the most popular ones in that batch. Eventually they will have the whole thing done and then we won't have to ever worry about needing chips from the PS3 to play PS3 games when you get your PS4. They will have the whole library on software and it will lead to lower part costs.
If you don't consider God of War, MGS2, MGS3, Guitar Hero 2, Final Fantasy X-2, and who knows how many others then yes, they will have most of the popular ones in that batch.
