if he only looked as cool in the game as in his art..I'd accept him..as long as the main series never adopts him as the only Link to go for...meh..

(Wind Waker's story didn't play like a Zelda..it was weird...the GAME on the other hand was good)

I wasn't a Zelda fan back when Wind Waker was revealed, but I would have been one of the few fans of the style at that time, amongst thousands of whiny Zelda fans.

Toon Link is great in 3D. He can show emotion, and to this day The Wind Waker Link is the ONLY one with anything resembling a personality. (PH Link lost that unfortunately)

And he looks just the same in the game as in the art. How is it any different? Compare my avatar to the ingame Link.

Finally, how didn't the story play like a Zelda? It was different, sure, but overall I'd say it's the best story in the series.
