I didn't forget that games can sell better on the ps3 than 360 despite install base, so I don't know why you're acting like I did :P I stated my opinion, and I stand by it. I do not think that Soul Calibur is a franchise that has a fanbase with strong preference for the PS3, that would result in the kind of discrepancy you've described. I think it will sell equally well on both systems, and since there is a significant install base difference, the 360 version will sell more copies. My reasoning is sound.

You don't really know for a fact. Heck, I'd say that most fighting game fans are PS3 owners since it has Tekken and had Virtua Fighter 5 exclusively for a good while. I might not have said this, but Soul Calibur 4 is likely to sell more on the 360 than the PS3 in America, due to the userbase difference you described. But it will still sell a good bit more than the 360 version in PAL and Japan, which could easily put the PS3 version over any gap or fault that the 360 version would have created in America. Look at DBZ: Burst Limit or Devil May Cry 4 or even Dynasty Warriors 5. The only real time the 360 wins is when the game only has appeal to America and PAL (shooters, for example).
