Ok, ok, so GTA IV has more oomph in the 360. We all know that its 720p in the 360 and only 640 in the PS3... So congratulations to me for having a 360! However, I don't see it making a huge difference, because if you have played both PS3 and 360 versions, the PS3 version actually looks better and doesn't tear. So congratulations to me for having a PS3! And really, you give all the data and specs you want, when it comes down to it the better game is the one that looks and plays better.

Take the orange box for example. Everyone and their mom should prefer playing it on 360 cause it has problems on the PS3. But I take GTA IV on PS3 over Xbox.

My point is who gives a flying F! The PS3 and the 360 have differences. Somethings actually look better on one than the other and vice versa. As time goes on we'll continue to see more of this and we'll continue to see more pariety.

The fact is you cannot make a blanket statement that the Xbox 360 is an overall better system than the PS3 and then rely solely on processing and framerate. Who cares how long or how hard it is for the devs to create a game for either system. The best way to determine which system is better is to play both. You'll find that both have games that work great with the system and ports that work better on one than the other. But really its a toss up for the most part. Right now, ports tend to favor 360, but that gap seems to be closing everyday. Play what you want on what you like to play it on. If you like playing shooters online, get into Halo. If you like playing online but want to play something different than FPS, get Warhawk. Both are equally fun and decent looking games.

I personally prefer the PS3 overall for all its capabilities outside of gaming and its free online. But thats me and that doesn't really have anything to do with this thread. I own more games on the 360... so maybe that does.  Ultimately my favorite game I have played this generation was Heavenly Sword, which ultimatly seems to have been a bust.  So maybe my point is not valid at all.
