I have to say that is one thing about this whole surge to provide online connectivity that kinda sucks. I makes the companies lazy. All previous versions of nintendo's never needed any sort of firmware upgrade that I am aware of. Yet, now that there is online from day one on the Wii it has been updated atleast twice since launch. Kinda ridiculas. They can do it right the first time, it just takes a lot of planning and testing. I understand that we have to download firmware changes for new channels or the opera browser, but built-in functionality like the damn SD card should have been perfect on launch. On a side note I pay $70 for 8MB connection. I do think US pays more than an average European for broadband.
