That list is actually why I can't fathom how this article can be taken seriously. Sure you can weed out some games, but what about the ones you haven't played? When everything from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to BlastWorks: Build, Trade, Destroy are considered third person shooters there are going to be some mistakes made.
