Some people bugger about this, but Microsoft does theirs the same way and only has 300 titles to date with reverse compatibility. 1200 titles is good. And you can bet they probably have the most popular ones in that batch. Eventually they will have the whole thing done and then we won't have to ever worry about needing chips from the PS3 to play PS3 games when you get your PS4. They will have the whole library on software and it will lead to lower part costs.
